How Does the Process Work?
Personalized serviceis the hallmark of The Personal Historian. Our goal is to enhance the value of the experience, simplify the process and prepare excellent life stories.
The process beginswith a careful evaluation to determine the project parameters and what the client desires to complete a meaningful memoir. Special travel arrangements, timing considerations and the cost of services are agreed upon at this time. A deposit of $100 solidifies the arrangements.
The standard fee for services is $45 per billable hour, payable on a monthly basis.
Typically, personal interviews are conducted by the historian in the comfort and privacy of home, where memorabilia is close at hand and families can become involved.
The production team designs the layout of the book pages to reflect the individuality of the client. After the family approves the final document, it is professionally printed, bound and delivered according to customer specifications.
A personal history is the gift of a lifetime!
